Following a streak of eight consecutive victories, Nicky Richards is set to field three horses at Hexham for the National Hunt races on Monday. Jamesieconn, part of the in-form Richards team, will compete in the Mick Walsh Open Ditch Handicap Chase, seeking a fourth win in a row. Having shown a preference for the three-mile distance and good ground at Carlisle, Jamesieconn has been raised 5lbs to a mark of 100, which may prove to be a challenge. Streamsforth Lad, despite having placed in various events, is yet to achieve a win and will be racing off a mark of 97. Meanwhile, Rightbackatyou will be ridden by Stuart Coltherd, who has seen a significant profit over the last two weeks. In the Anthony Woods Electrical Lightning Bolt Handicap Chase, Young Getaway will attempt to continue Richards' remarkable winning streak, making his chasing debut. Other notable competitors include That One, Heads Or Harps, and Choose A Copper. The Lucinda Russell and Michael Scudamore partnership will also be fielding two horses, while Grant Wood returns to Gosforth Park, a course where he has enjoyed previous success.
