Sutton Rules Out Celtic's Title Hopes, Tips Hearts or Rangers for Victory
Chris Sutton has expressed his doubts about Celtic's ability to secure their 14th league title since 2011, stating that the competition is now between Hearts and Rangers. With only five games remaining in the season, the margin for error is minimal. Sutton's former team, Celtic, struggled to achieve a 1-0 win against St Mirren, while Hearts came from behind to defeat Motherwell 3-1, and Rangers made a remarkable comeback to win 6-3 against Falkirk. Despite the intense competition, Sutton believes it's unlikely for Celtic to retain their crown. "It's impossible to predict, but I think it's between Hearts and Rangers," he said. The upcoming matches will be crucial, with Rangers focusing on their next game against Motherwell, who have been performing poorly lately. However, Scott Arfield warns that it's too early to rule out any of the contenders, emphasizing the importance of finding a way to win in the remaining games.
