Nicky Richards Seeks to Extend Winning Streak at Hexham

Following an impressive eight consecutive wins, Nicky Richards is set to send three horses to Hexham for the National Hunt event on Monday. Jamesieconn will be competing in the Mick Walsh Open Ditch Handicap Chase, seeking to achieve a four-timer for the in-form Nicky Richards team. This seven-year-old has shown a preference for the three-mile distance and good ground, having secured a win at Carlisle recently. The extra 5lbs added to his mark may pose a challenge, but he may still rise to the occasion. Streamsforth Lad has placed in various events but is yet to secure a win, and Stuart Coltherd's Rightbackatyou will also be competing. Nicky Richards will also be sending out Young Getaway to attempt to continue his remarkable winning streak in the Anthony Woods Electrical Lightning Bolt Handicap Chase. This event will also feature That One, who will be making his debut over fences after being defeated over smaller obstacles last year. Other notable competitors include Heads Or Harps and Choose A Copper, as well as Grant Wood, who has a strong record at Gosforth Park. The event will also feature Wicket Keeper, Paddy's Day, and Albasheer, with Gardener returning for the Happy Retirement Maurice & Anne Barnes Handicap Hurdle.
