I'm set to ride in several exciting races at Newmarket's Craven meeting, including a highly anticipated ride on Derby prospect Wareeth in the Listed Feilden Stakes. Wareeth, trained by Archie Watson, will be my standout ride at the meeting and will face stiff competition from the likes of Aidan O'Brien's Isaac Newton and Godolphin's Poseidon's Warrior. Both Wareeth and Poseidon's Warrior are making the leap from novice company, while Isaac Newton has the edge of experience and a Derby entry.
All three colts are also entered in the traditional Derby trial, the Group 2 Dante at York. I'll also be riding Zoulu Chief in the Weatherbys With Venatour Racing Handicap, where he'll look to build on his impressive winter performances.
Additionally, I've had the opportunity to ride Jane Chapple-Hyam's Harlequin Breeze in a workout and believe she's worth her place in the Group 3 Lanwades Stud Nell Gwyn Stakes. Impossible Mission will need to prove himself on turf in the National Stud Handicap, while Lady Fizz will gain valuable experience in the Molson Coors British EBF Maiden Fillies' Stakes. On Thursday, I'll be riding Marco Botti's Prince Of India in the Zyn Abernant Stakes and expecting a strong performance from Hawk Mountain in the Group 3 Betway Craven Stakes.
With a busy week of racing ahead, I'm looking forward to being back at Newmarket and competing in these exciting events.
