Sutton Rules Out Celtic's Title Hopes, Tips Hearts or Rangers for the Win

Chris Sutton has expressed his doubts about Celtic's ability to secure their 14th league title since 2011, believing the competition is now between Hearts and Rangers. With only five games remaining in the Scottish Premiership, the margin for error is minimal. Following a dramatic weekend where all three teams emerged victorious, Hearts maintain their lead at the top of the table, one point ahead of Rangers, with Celtic trailing by two points. Sutton's former team, Celtic, struggled to impress in their 1-0 win over St Mirren, while Hearts came from behind to defeat Motherwell 3-1, and Rangers staged an incredible comeback to win 6-3 at Falkirk. Despite the intense competition, Sutton remains skeptical about Celtic's chances, stating, 'It's impossible to predict. I don't think Celtic can win it, it's out of Hearts and Rangers.' He emphasized the importance of focusing on the next game, saying, 'You just worry about the next game, winning the next game and getting on with it.' Meanwhile, Scott Arfield, who was part of the last Rangers squad to win a top-flight title in 2021, believes it's too early to rule out any of the contenders, highlighting the need for each team to find a way to win with no room for error.
