Rangers Footballer Dujon Sterling Appears in Court on Drunk Driving Charges

Dujon Sterling, a 26-year-old Rangers football player, has made a court appearance to face charges of reckless driving and driving under the influence. The allegations stem from an incident on January 4, where Sterling allegedly sped excessively through Glasgow City Centre, posing a risk to other road users and losing control of his vehicle. Additionally, he is accused of driving with a blood alcohol level of 60 microgrammes per 100 millilitres of breath, exceeding the legal limit of 22 microgrammes per 100 millilitres. This incident occurred just a day after Sterling played in a match against Celtic, which Rangers won 3-1. During his court appearance at Glasgow Sheriff Court, Sterling did not enter a plea, and the case has been postponed to May 5 for further proceedings.
