Augusta National Masters Leaderboard: Final Results

The final standings from the Masters, the first major golf tournament of the year, held at Augusta National in Augusta, Georgia, are now available. Rory McIlroy successfully defended his title, becoming the first player to do so since Tiger Woods, after winning last year's playoff against Justin Rose to complete the career Grand Slam. Despite being the pre-tournament favorite, world number one Scottie Scheffler was surpassed by McIlroy, who made history with his title defense. McIlroy finished one stroke ahead of Scheffler with a one-under 71, while Tyrrell Hatton, Justin Rose, Cameron Young, and Russell Henley tied for third place. The top 10 was rounded out by Collin Morikawa, Sam Burns, Max Homa, and Xander Schauffele. The Masters, the first of four men's golf majors in as many months, featured a field of 91 players and was followed by the PGA Championship, US Open, and The Open. The PGA Tour will now head to South Carolina for the RBC Heritage, where Justin Thomas will defend his title.
