Jango Baie Achieves Victory in the Racing Welfare Bowl at Aintree
Following a remarkable performance as the runner-up in the Cheltenham Gold Cup, Jango Baie secured a triumphant win at Aintree, taking full advantage of a fall by Impaire Et Passe in the Racing Welfare Bowl. The seven-year-old, trained by Nicky Henderson, was the favourite to end his season on a high note, having demonstrated exceptional skill in the blue riband at Prestbury Park. Although his jumping was imperfect for much of the three-mile-one-furlong journey, he regained his composure turning for home and produced his best leap of the race two fences from the finish line, ultimately crossing the post with a 16-length lead over Dan Skelton's Protektorat.
