Hollie Doyle: Wareeth in Great Shape Ahead of Classic Trial

I have three rides lined up at Southwell on Saturday evening, all of which will be broadcast live on Sky Sports Racing. One of the highlights of my week will be the upcoming Feilden Stakes at Newmarket, where I'll be partnering with Archie Watson's exciting colt Wareeth. Ambishio, trained by Mick Appleby, is also one to watch as he returns to Southwell on Saturday night for the Country & Western Night 25th April Handicap. This speedy son of Kuroshio has shown impressive form since being gelded and I'm expecting a strong performance. Meanwhile, Phil Kirby's Fircombe Hall is in terrific form with two wins in his last three starts, and I'm looking forward to jumping back on him in the Come Racing For Free 18th June Handicap. Newmarket has also seen some exciting action, with Oxagon winning the Craven Stakes and Azleet entering 1000 Guineas contention after a 50-1 Nell Gwyn Stakes win. I'm eager to learn more about Derby hope Wareeth in the Feilden Stakes at Newmarket. Thomas Equinas is well handicapped on his old form but needs to improve on his recent performances when he runs in the Conference & Events At Southwell Racecourse Handicap. Dean Ivory's seven-year-old knows how to win on the All-Weather, but a wide draw in stall 10 isn't ideal. Next Wednesday will be a big day for Wareeth, who has been entered in the Listed bet365 Feilden Stakes at Newmarket's Craven Meeting. Stepping up to 9f in the Feilden should be ideal at this stage, and if the Derby dream is still alive, he could head to the Group 2 Dante Stakes at York on May 14. Riding my 70th winner in the familiar gold and navy blue silks of Hambleton Racing on Monday was a proud day for me. Elements Of Fire's convincing win at Wolverhampton made it three out of three for the syndicate and trainer Archie Watson since being bought out of John and Thady Gosden's yard. I'm hoping Dan Skelton's Panic Attack can emulate Nickel Coin's achievement at Aintree on Saturday. With just 10st 5lbs on her back, I think she can give Harry Skelton the ride of a lifetime. I've also got a hunch that Oliver Greenall and Josh Guerriero's IROKO can carry the famous JP McManus silks with distinction.
