Lara Antipova, trained by Tom Clover, performed well on her debut at Wetherby and then finished second at Wolverhampton, pulling clear of the third and is likely to be fancied in this similar heat. Lahan Kingman finished third to Guineas hopeful Touleen on her first start and then ran creditably when second at Wolverhampton, and she should step forward from that effort. Andrew Balding's Leonie, Cosmic, and Stolen complete the field. For fans of jumps racing, Newton Abbot features a six-race card, with recent winners Soldierofthestorm and Tapley headlining the Visit Kauto The King 6th May Handicap Chase. Jonjo O'Neill Jr's Soldierofthestorm, who won over fences at Sandown last month, is the one to beat under this 5lb higher mark.
