Rangers Footballer Dujon Sterling Faces Court Charges for Alleged Drunk and Reckless Driving

Dujon Sterling, a Rangers football player, has made a court appearance to face charges related to dangerous driving and driving under the influence. The allegations include speeding excessively through Glasgow City Centre on January 4 and potentially putting other road users at risk by driving into their path and losing control of his vehicle. Additionally, Sterling is accused of operating a vehicle while intoxicated on the same date, with a reported 60 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath, exceeding the legal limit of 22 microgrammes per 100 millilitres. This incident occurred after Sterling participated in a match against Celtic, which Rangers won 3-1. During his court appearance at Glasgow Sheriff Court, Sterling did not enter a plea, and the case has been continued to a further hearing scheduled for May 5.
