QPR and Bristol City Play Out Goalless Draw

The two teams played out a tightly contested match, with neither side able to find the back of the net. Bristol City, under the interim charge of Roy Hodgson, extended their unbeaten run, while QPR remained unbeaten in five matches. The visitors had the better chances in the first half, with Scott Twine and Mark Sykes both testing QPR goalkeeper Joe Walsh. At the other end, Kieran Morgan and Richard Kone came close for the hosts. After the break, Walsh denied Twine again, while Paul Smyth sliced a shot wide for QPR. The home side introduced Rumarn Burrell from the bench, but he was unable to make an immediate impact. Both teams worked hard, but the match ended goalless, with Bristol City keeping their second consecutive clean sheet under Hodgson. QPR head coach Julien Stephan praised his side's effort, saying they showed it was not the end of the season for them, while Hodgson felt the teams cancelled each other out.
