England kicked off their title defence with a resounding 33-12 victory over Ireland, playing in front of a record-breaking crowd of 77,120 spectators in the Women's Six Nations. The English team, led by captain Meg Jones, took an early 21-0 lead at halftime, courtesy of tries from hooker Amy Cokayne and prop Sarah Bern. Jess Breach added to the tally with her record 54th try, securing a bonus point for England. Ireland eventually got on the scoreboard when replacement Anna McGann scored, but it was too little, too late. France currently tops the Women's Six Nations table due to their superior points difference after defeating Italy 40-7.
