Monday's Racing Action: Nicky Richards Seeks to Extend Winning Streak at Hexham

Following an impressive eight consecutive wins, Nicky Richards is set to send three runners to Hexham for Monday's National Hunt racing, including Jamesieconn, who is chasing a four-timer. Jamesieconn has shown a liking for the three-mile trip and good ground, having won at Carlisle and been subsequently raised 5lbs to a mark of 100. Despite the extra weight, he may still rise to the challenge under Danny McMenamin. Streamsforth Lad, meanwhile, has placed in various races but is yet to secure a win, and will be looking to change that from a mark of 97. Stuart Coltherd's Rightbackatyou will also be in action, having previously performed well over the course and distance. Nicky Richards' Young Getaway will make his chasing debut in the Anthony Woods Electrical Lightning Bolt Handicap Chase, a year after his defeat over hurdles to That One, who also makes his debut over fences. Other notable runners include That One, who has a useful 5lbs claim, and Grant Wood, who returns to his successful hunting ground of Gosforth Park. The Lucinda Russell and Michael Scudamore combination will field two runners, including the ultra-consistent Heads Or Harps, while Paddy's Day will wear a tongue-tie for the first time and Albasheer will be ridden by Hollie Doyle.
