Benn Sets Sights on Garcia for World Title Showdown

Conor Benn expressed his eagerness to face WBC welterweight champion Ryan Garcia following his victory over Regis Prograis on Saturday. Benn secured a unanimous decision win against the former world champion at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, despite suffering cuts from several head clashes. After the fight, Benn quickly turned his attention to Garcia, saying, 'Garcia, I want my belt! Keep my belt warm.' Garcia responded, 'I'm down. Garcia vs Benn. Let's do it.' Benn's win over Prograis, which improved his record to 25-1, was at a catchweight of 3lb above the welterweight limit. Benn has mostly fought at welterweight, with his only professional loss coming against Chris Eubank Jr at 160lb. Prograis pushed Benn hard, but the latter's speed and energy gave him a comfortable points victory.
