Rangers Stage Thrilling Comeback to Keep Pressure on Hearts

Rangers ultimately prevailed, with Miovski and Chermiti scoring again to seal the win. This victory propelled Rangers back into second place, just a point behind leaders Hearts, with Celtic two points further back. The top three teams in the Premiership had not all won on the same weekend since earlier in the season, a record Rangers were eager to maintain. Chukwanui's contentious finish just before halftime sparked the comeback, as the home side seemed to expect a goal kick following Raskin's cross. The introduction of Bojan Miovski for Mikey Moore at the break proved pivotal, and Gassama's low cross was flicked home by Chermiti. Rangers' increased threat paid off as they took the lead in the 52nd minute, with Raskin scoring after Aasgaard's pass. Chermiti missed another chance, but Raskin set up Miovski to score with a cross from the left. Falkirk briefly narrowed the gap when Miller converted a penalty, but Rangers restored their two-goal cushion through Chermiti after Gassama's shot was blocked. The scoring was capped off by Miovski, who converted Oliver Antman's low cross from close range.
