McIlroy Vows to Improve for Masters Victory

He mentioned scrambling on the front nine and feeling a brief turnaround with a birdie on the 10th hole, only to be followed by a disappointing bogey in the final holes. McIlroy remains optimistic about his chances, emphasizing that he still has a great opportunity to win despite his lackluster display. He noted the importance of being in the final group and his intention to work on his game before the final round. McIlroy reflected on his victory last year, which ended an 11-year major drought and completed his career Grand Slam. He believes that having won previously and being in a different final playing group will aid his chances this time around. McIlroy thinks he will play more freely, reminding himself that he already has a green jacket. He also feels comfortable playing with Cameron Young again in the final round.
