DeChambeau Eager for McIlroy Rivalry at The Masters

Bryson DeChambeau is looking forward to competing against Rory McIlroy at The Masters, following a valuable learning experience from last year's final-round disappointment. DeChambeau, who is among the top contenders for a third major title at Augusta National, has posted top-six finishes in the past two years and is coming into the event with back-to-back LIV Golf League victories. The two-time US Open champion had briefly led during the final round last year, but ended up tied for fifth place after a three-over 75, as McIlroy claimed the victory needed to complete the career Grand Slam. DeChambeau has expressed his desire to continue the rivalry, stating that it creates more excitement around the game of golf. He also acknowledged that he has respect for McIlroy as an individual, but wants to beat him every time they compete. DeChambeau reflected on last year's loss, calling it a 'great learning lesson' that gave him perspective on being in the lead and losing it. He is now focused on putting himself in similar positions to increase his chances of winning.
