Lampard and Hellberg Among Nominees for EFL Manager of the Season Award

The nominees for the EFL Championship Manager of the Season Award have been announced, with Frank Lampard, Alex Neil, Sergej Jakirovic, and Kim Hellberg making the shortlist. The winners will be revealed at the EFL Awards ceremony on April 19, which will be broadcast live on Sky Sports Football. Lampard, who has led Coventry City to the top of the table, is joined by Neil (Millwall), Jakirovic (Hull City), and Hellberg (Middlesbrough), whose teams are all in contention for promotion. The EFL Championship Player of the Season award will be contested by Hayden Hackney (Middlesbrough), Carl Rushworth (Coventry City), Femi Azeez (Millwall), and Zan Vipotnik (Swansea City), who is the division's top scorer with 20 goals. In League One, the Manager of the Season award will be contested by Michael Skubala, Graham Alexander, Brian Barry-Murphy, and Alex Revell, while the Player of the Season award will be contested by Dom Ballard, Owen Bailey, Jack Moylan, and Sonny Bradley. The League Two Manager of the Season award will be contested by Andy Woodman, Paul Warne, Micky Mellon, and Neil Harris, while the Player of the Season award will be contested by Aaron Drinan, Mitch Pinnock, Callum Paterson, and Omar Sowumni. The EFL Young Player of the Season awards will be given out divisionally, and the EFL Teams of the Season and Goal of the Season will be revealed on the night. The Contribution to League Football and Sir Tom Finney awards will also be presented, with the former recognizing an individual's lifetime service to the professional game and the latter honoring an outstanding career and contribution to the EFL. Seven off-the-pitch awards will also be presented, including the Community Club of the Season award, which will be contested by Blackburn Rovers, Plymouth Argyle, and Bristol Rovers.
