I Am Maximus has made history by becoming the first horse to reclaim the Grand National title since Red Rum, a legendary figure in the sport. However, I Am Maximus, guided by Paul Townend, followed his familiar inside path and eventually surged to victory as the heavily-backed 9-2 favorite.
