Thomas Partey Denies Two New Rape Allegations

Ex-Arsenal player Thomas Partey has entered not guilty pleas to two fresh allegations of rape. The 32-year-old midfielder appeared in court to deny raping a woman in London in December 2020. Partey previously faced charges of five counts of rape and one count of sexual assault, to which he also pleaded not guilty. The new allegations bring the total to seven counts of rape and one count of sexual assault. A trial date has been set, but it may be delayed until January next year due to the additional charges. Partey, a key player for the Ghana national team, is expected to play in the World Cup this summer. He is currently on bail and is not allowed to contact the alleged victims.
