Rangers Footballer Dujon Sterling Faces Court Charges for Alleged Drunk Driving and Reckless Behavior

Dujon Sterling, a Rangers football player, has been charged with driving under the influence and reckless driving after allegedly speeding through Glasgow City Centre on January 4. The 26-year-old is accused of driving at high speeds, putting other road users at risk, and losing control of his vehicle. Additionally, he faces a charge of drunk driving, with a reported 60 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath, exceeding the legal limit of 22mcg per 100ml. This incident occurred a day after Sterling played in a match against Celtic, which Rangers won 3-1. During his appearance at Glasgow Sheriff Court, Sterling did not enter a plea, and the case has been postponed until May 5 for further proceedings.
