Rangers Footballer Dujon Sterling Appears in Court on Drink Driving Charges

Dujon Sterling, a Rangers football player, has made a court appearance to face charges of dangerous driving and driving under the influence. The allegations stem from an incident on January 4, where Sterling, 26, is said to have driven at high speeds through Glasgow City Centre, posing a risk to other road users and losing control of his vehicle. Additionally, he is accused of driving with a breath alcohol level of 60 microgrammes per 100 millilitres, exceeding the legal limit of 22 microgrammes per 100 millilitres. This incident occurred a day after Sterling played in a match against Celtic, which Rangers won 3-1. During his court appearance at Glasgow Sheriff Court, Sterling did not enter a plea, and the case has been continued to a further hearing scheduled for May 5.
