Jango Baie Claims Victory in the Racing Welfare Bowl

Jango Baie, the Cheltenham Gold Cup runner-up, achieved a triumphant win at Aintree by taking full advantage of Impaire Et Passe's fall in the Racing Welfare Bowl. Nicky Henderson's seven-year-old was the favorite to end his season on a high note, having valiantly chased home Gaelic Warrior in the blue riband at Prestbury Park. Despite some imperfect jumping, Jango Baie produced his best leap of the race two fences from home and went on to win with 16 lengths in hand over Dan Skelton's Protektorat.
