'I believe AJ will succeed in beating my friend Fury,' Usyk said. Negotiations are underway for Joshua to face Fury in an all-British heavyweight showdown this year, according to Joshua's promoter Eddie Hearn. Usyk may even be in Joshua's corner for the fight. Training with Usyk has already made a significant impact on Joshua, with Hearn noting, 'The setup is incredible, and being around the best fighter in the sport is inspiring.' Usyk is currently preparing for his own fight against Rico Verhoeven on May 23 and is focused solely on this upcoming bout.
