Fury Challenges Joshua to Prioritize Their Blockbuster Fight Over Wilder Bout

Tyson Fury is calling on Anthony Joshua to focus on their highly anticipated showdown, rather than pursuing a potential fight against Deontay Wilder. The two former world champions have been embroiled in a long-standing rivalry, but have yet to face each other in the ring. Fury believes their mega-fight cannot be delayed any further, stating, "I don't think he should have a tune-up bout. I think we should get this fight on as soon as possible, in case something happens in between." Fury, who is set to fight Arslanbek Makhmudov on Saturday, urged Joshua to put their differences aside and commit to the fight, saying, "You've had the warm-up fight in December and I'm having one here now. I've been out of the ring longer than he has, 16 months out of the ring. Let's do it, let's dance." Fury dismissed the idea of Joshua facing Wilder, saying, "Forget Wilder, the man's a shell of himself, it's sad to see, forget anybody else. Let me get through Saturday night and we'll do the fight this year. I'm willing to make it happen, no excuses."
