Doku Sounds Warning to Arsenal: 'Title Race is On'

Jeremy Doku, Manchester City's goalscorer, has sent a warning to league leaders Arsenal, stating that the 'title race is on' ahead of their upcoming match at the Etihad. Following Arsenal's loss to Bournemouth, Manchester City capitalized with a 3-0 win over Chelsea, moving six points behind the leaders with a game in hand. Doku, who scored his first goal since November, expressed his confidence in City's chances, saying, 'I would be crazy if I didn't believe. I believe the race is on.' He acknowledged the unpredictability of the Premier League, citing Arsenal's recent loss as an example. Manchester City's manager, Pep Guardiola, also shared his thoughts, recalling how his team was considered an underdog before the Carabao Cup final against Arsenal. However, City went on to win the cup and has since thrashed Liverpool 4-0 in the FA Cup, closing the gap at the top of the league. Guardiola expressed his respect for Arsenal, recognizing their quality and competitiveness. He emphasized the challenge of beating them twice in a short period, but noted that his team is growing and more fresh after being eliminated from the Champions League.
