Rangers Footballer Dujon Sterling Faces Court Over Alleged Drunk Driving

Dujon Sterling, a Rangers football player, has made a court appearance to face charges of reckless driving and driving under the influence. The 26-year-old allegedly drove at high speeds on multiple roads in Glasgow City Centre on January 4. The reckless driving charge claims he drove into the path of other vehicles and lost control of his car. On the same date, he is also accused of driving while intoxicated. The day before the alleged incident, Sterling had played for Rangers in a match against Celtic, which his team won 3-1. It is claimed that he had 60 micrograms of alcohol in 100 milliliters of breath, exceeding the allowed limit of 22 micrograms per 100 milliliters. During his appearance at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Wednesday, Sterling did not plead guilty or not guilty. Sheriff Jonathan Guy postponed the case until a further hearing at the court on May 5.
