Alcaraz and Sinner to Clash in Monte-Carlo Masters Final with World No1 at Stake

Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner have both advanced to the Monte-Carlo Masters final, setting the stage for their first meeting of 2026. Although Vacherot mounted a fightback in the second set, Alcaraz proved too strong, winning three successive games to confirm his place in the final. Alcaraz described the final as a 'dream spot' and is excited to face Sinner, who is fighting for his first Monte Carlo title. The match will be a special one, with the world No 1 ranking on the line. Sinner has become the fourth man to reach the final at the first three Masters 1000s in a season, while Alcaraz has become the third player to reach 10 ATP 1000 finals before the age of 23, joining Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic.
