Rangers Footballer Dujon Sterling Faces Court Over Alleged Drink Driving Offense

Dujon Sterling, a Rangers football player, has made a court appearance to address charges of reckless driving and driving under the influence. According to allegations, on January 4, Sterling, aged 26, drove at high speeds through various roads in Glasgow's city center. The charges claim he drove into the path of other vehicles, lost control of his car, and was over the legal alcohol limit. Sterling had participated in a match against Celtic the day before, which Rangers won 3-1. The prosecution alleges that Sterling had 60 micrograms of alcohol per 100 milliliters of breath, exceeding the allowed limit of 22 micrograms per 100 milliliters. During his appearance at Glasgow Sheriff Court, Sterling did not enter a plea, and the case has been postponed to May 5 for further proceedings.
