Satisfy Your Need for Speed on Sky Sports Despite F1's April Break

While Formula 1 takes a brief hiatus, Sky Sports F1 is gearing up to deliver an action-packed April with a diverse range of live motorsport events. As the F1 season pauses, fans can look forward to thrilling racing action from various categories and events, broadcast on both TV and YouTube channels over the next two weekends. This weekend, Max Verstappen is set to compete in the Nurburgring Endurance Series, tackling the iconic Nordschleife circuit in two races - one on Saturday and another on Sunday. Following a disqualification in the previous NLS2 race due to a tyre infringement, Verstappen and his teammates are eager to bounce back. The four-time world champion will also participate in the prestigious Nordschleife 24 Hours in May, sandwiched between the Miami and Canadian Grands Prix. Additionally, the latest round of the IndyCar season will be broadcast, featuring round five from the famous Long Beach street track in California. The event promises to be exhilarating, with four different polesitters and three different winners in the opening four events. As the countdown to the 24-hour showpiece event in May begins, an NLS double-header will take place at the Nurburgring, with both races streaming on YouTube. Verstappen will team up with Lucas Auer, nephew of former Ferrari and McLaren driver Gerhard Berger, in their Red Bull-liveried Mercedes GT3 car. Furthermore, the 83rd Goodwood Members' Meeting will be covered, showcasing 13 races in historic machinery from various decades, as well as demonstration laps by Jenson Button in his 2009 title-winning Brawn car and a tribute to James Hunt 50 years after his 1976 title win. The schedule for the upcoming weekend includes: Friday, April 17, 11pm - IndyCar Long Beach Practice One; Saturday, April 18, 9am - Goodwood Members' Meeting Day One, 10:15am - NLS 4 on Sky Sports F1 YouTube, 6:30pm - IndyCar Long Beach Practice Two, and 11:30pm - IndyCar Long Beach Qualifying. On Sunday, April 19, the action continues with the Goodwood Members' Meeting Day Two at 9am, NLS 5 on Sky Sports F1 YouTube at 10:15am, IndyCar Long Beach Warm-up at 6pm, and the IndyCar Long Beach Race at 10:30pm. The following week, historic racing from the renowned Monaco circuit will be featured, with the Monaco Historique event showcasing cars from the pre-war Grand Prix era to the mid-1980s. The event will be broadcast on Saturday, April 25, at 7:10am, and Sunday, April 26, at 6:55am. Formula 1 will return on May 1-3 with the Miami Grand Prix, the season's second Sprint weekend, live on Sky Sports F1.
