Fury Challenges Joshua to Prioritize Their Showdown Over Other Fights

Tyson Fury has called on Anthony Joshua to focus on their highly anticipated fight, rather than considering a bout against Deontay Wilder or anyone else. The two former world champions have been rivals for years but have yet to face each other in the ring. Fury believes their showdown can't be delayed any further, saying: 'I don't think he should have a tune-up fight. I think we should get this fight on as soon as possible, in case something happens in between.' Fury and Joshua have both been out of the ring recently, with Joshua fighting in December and Fury set to fight on Saturday. Fury urged Joshua to put other fights on the backburner, saying: 'Forget Wilder, forget anybody else. Let me get through Saturday night and we'll do the fight this year.' He emphasized the unpredictable nature of heavyweight boxing, where 'anything can go wrong' and 'there are no easy fights.' Fury expressed his desire to face Joshua next, but first, he must get past Arslanbek Makhmudov on Saturday.
