Benn Sets Sights on Garcia for World Title Shot

Following his victory over Regis Prograis, Conor Benn has expressed his eagerness to face WBC welterweight champion Ryan Garcia. Benn secured a unanimous decision win against the former world champion at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, despite suffering cuts from several head clashes. Garcia, who won the WBC title in February, responded by saying 'I'm down. Garcia vs Benn. Let's do it.' Benn's win over Prograis, which took place at a catchweight 3lb above the welterweight limit, improves his fight record to 25-1. Benn, who has mostly fought at welterweight, is now ready to move down to 147lb to challenge Garcia. 'It was a great fight. Tough, durable, experience. I had to weather some storms but we are good,' said Benn, adding 'My first fight back at 150 for three years and now I'm ready to move down to 147 to get Ryan Garcia.'
