Jango Baie Secures Bowl Glory at Aintree for a Consolation Win

Following a strong performance as the runner-up in the Cheltenham Gold Cup, Jango Baie achieved a triumphant win in the Racing Welfare Bowl at Aintree, capitalizing on a fall by Impaire Et Passe. Trained by Nicky Henderson, the seven-year-old was favored to end his season on a high note and did so by producing his best jump two fences from home, securing a 16-length victory over Dan Skelton's Protektorat. Henderson reflected on the win, noting the challenge for jockey Nico de Boinville to bounce back from an earlier disappointment and praising Jango Baie's ability. The King George and the Gold Cup are likely targets for Jango Baie next season. In other Aintree news, Brighterdaysahead won the William Hill Aintree Hurdle, and Koktail Divin took the William Hill Manifesto Novices' Chase.
