Benn secured a unanimous decision win against Prograis at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, despite facing several head clashes that resulted in cuts above his eye. After the fight, Benn swiftly turned his attention to Garcia, stating 'Garcia, I want my belt! Keep my belt warm' in a social media video. Garcia, who won the WBC welterweight title in February, responded positively to the challenge. Benn's win over Prograis, which took his fight record to 25-1, was at a catchweight 3lb above the welterweight limit. With his sights now set on Garcia, Benn is ready to move down to 147lb for the title shot.
