Aston Martin's Struggles Set to Continue

According to Sky Sports F1's Martin Brundle, Aston Martin's dismal start to the 2026 season is far from over. Despite the promising additions of design genius Adrian Newey and a new engine partnership with Honda, the team has failed to impress, with neither speed nor reliability. Brundle believes the team's woes will persist, stating that they are currently in a 'horror show' with no immediate rescue in sight. Aston Martin's struggles have been evident, with the team unable to score a point in the season's first three races, and their drivers often finishing at the back of the pack. The team's plight was further highlighted by Lance Stroll's comment that he and his teammate Fernando Alonso are competing in their 'own Aston Martin championship.' Brundle emphasized that the team needs to address its issues, starting with getting the right people in at Honda and finding the right direction. However, he warned that significant improvement is unlikely until 2027.
