Brundle: Russell Must View Antonelli as a Formidable Rival

According to Martin Brundle, George Russell should consider his Mercedes teammate Kimi Antonelli a significant threat, akin to Lewis Hamilton at the height of his career, as the two drivers engage in an emerging title battle. Mercedes has dominated the start of the season, securing victories in the first three races, but Antonelli surprisingly holds a nine-point lead over Russell. The young Italian has benefited from fortunate circumstances, including a timely safety car at the Japanese Grand Prix, which allowed him to overtake Russell and achieve his second consecutive win. Brundle believes Russell should be concerned, stating that he must treat Antonelli with the same level of respect and caution as he would Hamilton in his prime.
