Fury Calls on Joshua to Prioritize Their Highly Anticipated Fight

Tyson Fury is urging Anthony Joshua to put aside potential fights against other opponents, including Deontay Wilder, and focus on their long-awaited showdown. The two former world champions have been rivals for years but have yet to face each other in the ring. Fury believes their highly anticipated fight cannot be delayed any further. Speaking about Joshua, Fury stated, "I don't think he needs a warm-up bout. I think we should schedule our fight as soon as possible, in case something unexpected happens. This fight has been postponed numerous times over the past decade, with one thing or another getting in the way." Fury and Joshua have both been active recently, with Joshua fighting in December and Fury set to compete on Saturday. Fury declared, "You've had your tune-up fight, and I'm having mine now. I've been out of the ring for 16 months, so let's make it happen. Let's fight this year, I'm being more than fair." He also expressed his disregard for other potential opponents, saying, "Forget about Wilder, he's a shadow of his former self. Forget everyone else, let's focus on our fight. The problem with heavyweight boxing is that anything can go wrong, and there are no easy fights. If you get knocked out, it's all over." Fury is unsure if Joshua will attend his upcoming fight but remains focused on his own opponent for now. He said, "If Joshua comes to watch, that's fine, but if not, I understand. Everyone does what's best for themselves, especially in business. My priority is my upcoming fight, and then we can discuss our potential matchup afterwards."
