Anthony Joshua Set to Face Tyson Fury After Potential Warm-Up Fight
Anthony Joshua is poised to face Tyson Fury in a highly anticipated battle, but may first take part in a warm-up fight in July. Fury has already signed on for the all-British showdown and recently issued a challenge to Joshua following his victory over Arslanbek Makhmudov. Joshua's promoter, Eddie Hearn, revealed that they have received the contract for the fight and are currently reviewing it, with Joshua expected to return to the ring in July after a serious car accident in Nigeria. Hearn expressed that a warm-up fight could be a possibility before the Fury bout, with a potential matchup against Deontay Wilder being explored. Wilder's camp, however, has denied any discussions taking place. The original plan was to have Joshua fight in March, followed by a matchup against Fury in August, but due to unforeseen circumstances, the dates have been pushed back to July and November.
