Sale Hooker Receives Six-Week Suspension for Biting Incident

Nathan Jibulu, a hooker for Sale, has been handed a six-week suspension after being found guilty of biting Harlequins prop Will Hobson during a Champions Cup match. The incident took place in the 69th minute of Sale's 26-17 victory over Harlequins at Twickenham Stoop on Saturday. Jibulu, who is 23 years old, faced a potential 12-week ban but had his sentence reduced due to his guilty plea, apology, and clean disciplinary record. In a statement, Sale said: "Nathan has taken responsibility for his actions and has acknowledged that they were unacceptable. "The club and player are in agreement that our athletes should always conduct themselves in a manner that is befitting of role models, and such behavior will not be tolerated on or off the pitch. "While the club will be conducting its own internal investigation, we will continue to provide Nathan with our full support during this challenging time. "Sale is set to face Leinster in the Champions Cup quarter-finals on Saturday.
