Rangers mounted a remarkable recovery at Falkirk, remaining firmly in contention for the Scottish Premiership title with just five games left to play. Despite starting the day in third place following wins by Hearts and Celtic on Saturday, Danny Röhl's team found themselves 2-0 down after goals from Ben Broggio and Finn Yeats. However, Tochi Chukwanui's strike before halftime sparked a turnaround, and a blistering start to the second half saw Rangers take a 3-2 lead courtesy of goals from Youssef Chermiti and Nico Raskin. The visitors continued to push forward, with Bojan Miovski adding a fourth goal before Falkirk's Calvin Miller reduced the deficit from the penalty spot after James Tavernier fouled Filip Lissah.
Nevertheless, Rangers' title aspirations were underscored as Miovski and Chermiti both scored again, putting the game beyond Falkirk's reach. The win propelled Rangers back into second place, just a point behind leaders Hearts, with Celtic trailing by a further two points. The dramatic comeback was ignited by Chukwuani's contentious finish on the cusp of halftime, which capitalized on a goalmouth scramble after Raskin's cross had curled over the goal. The introduction of Bojan Miovski at the break proved pivotal, as he, along with Chermiti and Raskin, played instrumental roles in Rangers' resurgence.
Despite Chermiti missing opportunities to extend the lead, Raskin's vision and passing range ultimately paid dividends, as he set up Miovski to score before Chermiti netted again. Although Falkirk briefly threatened a revival when Miller scored from the spot, Rangers restored their two-goal advantage through Chermiti, following a blocked shot by Gassama. The Belgian midfielder Raskin was eventually booked for a clash with Dylan Tait but had already made a significant impact on the game. Miovski sealed the victory two minutes from time, converting Oliver Antman's cross to complete the scoring.
In his post-match interview with Sky Sports, Rangers head coach Danny Röhl reflected on the team's initial struggles, citing the pitch as a factor, but praised the outstanding reaction and spirit displayed by his team, emphasizing the strong bond between the players and supporters.
