Your Racing Fix on Sky Sports: Alternatives to F1 in April

Although the Formula 1 season is currently on a break, fans can still catch plenty of live motorsport action on Sky Sports F1 throughout April. With a packed schedule of track events over the next two weekends, viewers can tune in to both TV and YouTube channels for thrilling racing content. This weekend, Max Verstappen will be back at the Nordschleife for the Nurburgring Endurance Series, competing in two races - one on Saturday and another on Sunday. Verstappen, a four-time world champion, will also participate in the iconic Nordschleife 24 Hours in May. Additionally, Sky Sports F1 will cover the latest round of the IndyCar season from Long Beach, California, as well as historic racing from Goodwood and Monaco. The IndyCar Series coverage will include practice, qualifying, warm-up, and the race itself, showcasing an exciting start to the season with four different polesitters and three winners so far. As the 24-hour race in May approaches, an NLS double-header will take place at the Nurburgring, streaming on YouTube, with Verstappen teaming up with Lucas Auer in a Red Bull-liveried Mercedes GT3 car. Furthermore, the 83rd Goodwood Members' Meeting will feature 13 races with historic machinery, demonstration laps by Jenson Button in his 2009 title-winning Brawn car, and a tribute to James Hunt 50 years after his 1976 title win. The following week, historic racing from Monaco will be available, featuring cars from the pre-war Grand Prix era to the mid-1980s. Formula 1 will return on May 1-3 with the Miami Grand Prix, live on Sky Sports F1.
