Tiger Woods Receives Support from Fellow Golfing Legends Amidst Health Struggles

Golf legends Gary Player and Jack Nicklaus have expressed their support for Tiger Woods, who is currently absent from The Masters due to health issues. Woods has been dealing with the aftermath of a car crash and is seeking treatment for his injuries. Player, in particular, has spoken out about the dangers of driving while taking medication, urging Woods to consider hiring a chauffeur for his safety. Nicklaus has also offered words of encouragement, stating that golf needs Woods and would love to have him back. Augusta National chairman Fred Ridley has confirmed that the organization supports Woods' decision to focus on his health and well-being. Woods has only played in a limited number of tournaments since November 2020 and has not made a competitive appearance since The Open in July 2024.
