Joel Tomkins has announced his departure from Catalans Dragons, citing personal reasons for his decision to step down as head coach after nearly a year in the role. Tomkins, who took over as interim coach before being appointed permanently, found the time spent away from his family to be a significant challenge. Following a recent period at home, he made the decision to leave the club, which currently sits sixth in the Super League table. Tomkins expressed his gratitude to the players, staff, and supporters, and wished the club success for the remainder of the season.
