Nathan Aspinall has secured his fourth European Tour title, emerging victorious in the German Darts Grand Prix with an 8-5 win over Danny Noppert in the final. Aspinall, who had previously won three European Tour titles in 2025, made a triumphant return to form in Munich, overcoming a determined effort from Noppert to claim the £35,000 top prize. The Stockport star produced a remarkable comeback, winning four consecutive legs from 5-4 down to seal the victory, achieving an average of 100.35 and hitting seven 180s to thwart Noppert's bid for his maiden European Tour crown. Aspinall's path to the final included a narrow escape against Ricardo Pietreczko on Sunday, before accounting for Pietreczko's World Cup partner Martin Schindler on the final day. He then defeated Andrew Gilding in the quarter-finals, followed by an impressive performance against Kevin Doets in the semi-finals, where he averaged 106.40. Aspinall's victory sets him up for a strong run in the Premier League Darts, which continues with Night 10 in Brighton on Thursday.
