Maguire Commits to Manchester United with New Deal

Manchester United's defender Harry Maguire has signed a new one-year contract with an option for an additional year, extending his stay at Old Trafford into an eighth season. Maguire's previous deal was set to expire at the end of the season, but he will now remain with the club. The 33-year-old believes Manchester United is on an upward trajectory and expressed his desire to be part of a remarkable campaign next season. "It's amazing to be at this club for seven years, and now it will be eight. I'm really looking forward to it," Maguire said in a club interview. "Our focus is on finishing the season strongly to put us in a good position for next year, and then we must make next year even better and more special." Maguire has been a constant presence for United since Michael Carrick took charge, helping the team rise to third in the Premier League. His recent form earned him an England recall, his first international appearances in 18 months. A return to the Champions League is now the clear objective for United.
