Rahm Optimistic About Resolving Ryder Cup Eligibility Issue

Jon Rahm is confident that he can reach an agreement with the DP World Tour to maintain his eligibility for the European Ryder Cup team. Rahm still needs to settle outstanding fines for participating in LIV Golf League events without permission, but he has withdrawn his appeal against the imposed sanctions. The Spaniard rejected the DP World Tour's offer for conditional tournament releases, which required players to withdraw their appeals, pay fines, and participate in additional events. Rahm described this deal as 'extorting players.' He expressed faith in finding a solution that suits both parties, stating, 'We're going to work it out.' Luke Donald, who hopes Rahm can feature in the Ryder Cup team, said he is trying to find a resolution between Rahm and the DP World Tour. Rahm is focused on The Masters and is optimistic about his chances of playing in the Ryder Cup next September. He has compromised on certain issues and believes a resolution will be found before the tournament.
