Jango Baie Claims Victory in the Racing Welfare Bowl
Jango Baie, the Cheltenham Gold Cup runner-up, achieved a triumphant win at Aintree by taking full advantage of Impaire Et Passe's fall in the Racing Welfare Bowl. As the even-money favorite, Nicky Henderson's seven-year-old horse ended his season on a high note after valiantly chasing home Gaelic Warrior in the blue riband at Prestbury Park. Although his jumping was not perfect for most of the three-mile-one-furlong journey, Jango Baie regained his composure and produced his best leap of the race two fences from home, ultimately emerging victorious with 16 lengths to spare over Dan Skelton's Protektorat.
