Johnston Returns to Training, Araujo's Celtic Career May Be Over

Celtic has been boosted by the return of long-term injured player Alistair Johnston to training, but loan defender Julian Araujo may have played his last game for the club due to a recurring thigh problem. Johnston, who has been out since October with a hamstring injury, joined his teammates at the Lennoxtown training complex ahead of the Scottish Premiership match against St Mirren. However, Araujo, who has been recovering from a thigh issue at his parent club Bournemouth, has suffered a setback, which may rule him out for the remainder of the season. Celtic manager Martin O'Neill expressed his concerns about Araujo's injury, stating that the player had re-injured himself while under supervision at Bournemouth. O'Neill also provided an update on the fitness of right-back Colby Donovan, who will miss the upcoming match against St Mirren due to a hamstring injury. Meanwhile, the Celtic manager welcomed the return of the Green Brigade, the team's ultras group, after a five-month ban was lifted. The Hoops are currently third in the Scottish Premiership, three points behind leaders Hearts, and O'Neill acknowledged that it would be preferable to be in Hearts' position with games running out.
