Nicky Richards Aims for Continued Success at Hexham with Trio of Runners

Following an impressive winning streak of eight consecutive victories, renowned trainer Nicky Richards is set to field three horses at Hexham for the upcoming National Hunt racing event on Monday. Jamesieconn, one of Richards' top contenders, is seeking a fourth consecutive win and will be ridden by Danny McMenamin. Having previously demonstrated a strong affinity for the three-mile distance and favorable ground conditions, Jamesieconn achieved a notable victory at Carlisle, resulting in a 5lb increase to a mark of 100. Despite the added weight, the seven-year-old is expected to put up a formidable challenge. Streamsforth Lad, another Richards-trained horse, has shown promise with multiple placings across various events but is yet to secure a win, currently racing off a mark of 97. Meanwhile, Stuart Coltherd's Rightbackatyou will also be competing, having previously performed well over the same course and distance. The Anthony Woods Electrical Lightning Bolt Handicap Chase will feature Young Getaway, making his debut in chase events, as well as That One, who is also new to fences. Other notable runners include Heads Or Harps and Choose A Copper, trained by the Lucinda Russell and Michael Scudamore partnership, and Grant Wood, who has an impressive record at Gosforth Park.
